Group ride and T-run

Met the LTF group this morning at 5:30 for a liesurely 25 mile ride. I normally ride with the club once or twice during the week, but Saturdays are generally 3+ hours which I can't do with my work schedule. Today however, was shortened because everyone is getting ready for the race tomorrow so I jumped in. I met some new people. As introductions were being made, one girl commented that I must be fast if I show up wearing a dress (I won't tell her it has super powers). We had a lot of fun talking and enjoying the cool morning. I even wore my Terry shrug over my WonderGirl Dress cause I thought my shoulders would be cold. By half way through I wouldn't have needed it, but I never overheated. We cranked out 25 miles at 18.2 mph and then I convinced two others to join me in a 3 mile transition run. After so much time alone training, it's nice to have people to ride with and challenge me on the run. Another fabulous day!

After work I'll drop off E'ly for the sprint triathlon tomorrow. She laughs at all the short stuff we've been doing the last 2 weeks. I remind her that she needs a break too, as training will ramp up in another week. She's ready to fly tomorrow!!
