That thing is awesome!!! And it will match the lime green stuff from this season's Skirt collection so well! :)
I know you will miss the old bike, but it's always best to be sure you're on a safe one. Good decision to get the new one! This one does deserve a hot name though!
Triksie is a 2005 Trek Madone (road bike) carbon frame with ultegra components. She's got clip on aero bars so she doesn't feel too out of place in triathlon. I love her. I am not sure what drew me to Trek other than their great reputation and awesome products. I also have a Trek mt. bike. I am a creature of habbit and tend to be very loyal when I find something that I like. I have been really happy with her and would never have gotten the new bike if I hadn't crashed. When I crashed, the opportunity came up through Trek's crash replacement program (really good deal on a new bike). Since most of my riding is for triathlon, I went with the time trial frame this time. I've not ridden it (I know... big mistake) but I am a huge fan of Trek and have full confidence I will love my new ride just as much. Plus... the Equinox is HAWT!!!

Congrats! May I ask a few dumb questions? What was the species of Trixy (sp? Sorry), your last mechanical offspring? What made you choose the Trek?
